The first kind of exposition would when the audience found out Abe got stopped by the FBI. This was when Abe's friend Tariq was introduced. The most theatrical moment in the play would be all of scene 3. Scene 3 was the most dramatic scene out of the play. This is because it had many plot twist as well as moments the reader was not expecting. For example, the reader finding out about the affair between Emily and Isaac was a plot twist. This added more conflict to Amir and Emily's marriage making their bond weaken even more. An example of a moment that the reader was not expecting was when Amir started beating Emily. Even I was shocked when it happened. The moment Amir started hitting Emily was a moment in the book where I had to re-read it because I thought I read it wrong. THis scene

So they fired Amir and hired Jory as his replacement as well as giving her the promotion he wanted.
9. Describe some possible images in the play and how does the title help us understand the play.
The main image throughout the play was the painting that Emily created of Amir. It was a replica of the Velazquez painting but with Amir as the slave. Amir was also dressed in a suit in order to modernize it. This could represent Amir's struggle with being a slave to his own self. He could be trying to hide who he is, but other people will always see him differently than how he feels about himself The way the title helps us understand the play is that it is a big emotion Amir feels towards his background to a point where he wants nothing to do with it. Amir changed his last name in order to better fit the "American way". Amir even lied about where he was from because he was ashamed that he was born in Pakistan.
10. Briefly define the family relationships that are examined in the play.
Family relationships in the play are very hard to understand especially for Amir's family. The audience doesn't really know much about Amir's family. This play also shows families that do not get along. For the relationship between Amir and his nephew Abe, their relationship is rocky. Abe looked up to Amir in the beginning of the play but by the ending of the play Abe was not looking up to Amir. The family relationships also shows that when situations are not difficult, people of different backgrounds can come together and live in harmony. However, because of the many problems that was faced throughout the play, people of different backgrounds could not live together in harmony. This is mostly due to the fact that there are many opinions and misunderstandings about certain subjects.
